About This Program

Louisiana's Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) provides child care subsidies to low-income working families, TANF recipients, and those in approved training/education. Families choose from licensed or certified providers participating in Louisiana's Child Care Path to Quality (CPQ) quality rating system. The state pays providers directly; families pay a sliding-scale co-payment.
