East Baton Rouge Parish School System and community partners operate Head Start and Early Head Start programs in Baton Rouge. These federally funded programs provide free comprehensive early childhood education, health, dental, nutrition, and family support to low-income families. Programs serve children from birth through age 5 across the parish.
