Buffalo and Erie County Head Start programs provide free comprehensive early childhood services to low-income families. Buffalo Public Schools and Child and Family Services administer Head Start and Early Head Start programs offering education, health, nutrition, mental health, and family engagement services to children from birth through age 5.
