About This Program

Colorado's Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP) helps low-income families pay for child care through county human services departments. Families choose from licensed child care providers in Colorado's Qualistar quality rating system. Each county sets its own income limits (not to exceed 185% FPL). Families pay a co-payment; the county/state pays the remainder to the provider.

Subsidy covers portion of childcare costs based on income; family pays sliding-scale co-payment
