About This Program

Polk County Head Start and Early Head Start programs provide comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition, and family support services to low-income families at no cost. Early Head Start serves infants and toddlers (birth–3 years); Head Start serves children aged 3–5. Federally funded through the Office of Head Start.
