About This Program

Iowa Workforce Development operates the Des Moines American Job Center, providing WIOA Title I Individual Training Accounts for eligible adults and dislocated workers in Polk County and surrounding areas. Central Iowa Works, the regional workforce board, targets training in insurance and financial services, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, and food/ag processing. Iowa's Future Ready Iowa Last-Dollar Scholarship may be layered with WIOA funding.
