About This Program

The AYBR Program provides one-time grants of up to $22,500 to households with a Person with a Disability who need home modifications to increase accessibility and eliminate hazardous conditions. Both homeowners and renters are eligible. TDHCA contracts with local nonprofits and governments to administer the program, so applicants must apply through a local provider in their county.

One-time grant; no repayment required. Grant amount is capped at $22,500 per household.
