About This Program

Fort Worth's HAP provides up to $25,000 in mortgage assistance including down payment and closing costs to income-eligible first-time homebuyers within Fort Worth city limits. Assistance is provided as a deferred loan contingent on remaining in the home for up to 10 years depending on the amount received. Applicants must meet credit and debt-to-income requirements through approved lenders.
