About This Program

VITA provides free IRS-certified tax preparation in Fort Worth through local nonprofits and community organizations. Filers can claim the IRS 25C energy efficiency credit (up to $3,200/year), Earned Income Tax Credit, and other credits that help offset home improvement costs. Tarrant County VITA sites are coordinated through United Way of Tarrant County.
