The Honolulu Down Payment Loan Program provides up to $40,000 as a zero-fee, zero-interest deferred loan with a 20-year amortization term to help first-time homebuyers purchase homes on Oahu. HHFDC also offers the Hula Mae Mortgage Loan Program, providing below-market mortgage rates plus down payment assistance. These programs help buyers access Hawaii's extremely high-cost housing market.
