VITA provides free federal and Hawaii state income tax preparation and e-filing for households earning $67,000 or less, people with disabilities, and limited English speakers. In Honolulu, VITA sites are coordinated through Aloha United Way and community organizations. IRS-certified volunteers help maximize credits including the Earned Income Tax Credit and Child Tax Credit.
