Head Start and Early Head Start programs in Indianapolis and Marion County provide free comprehensive early childhood services to low-income families. Community Action of Greater Indianapolis and Indianapolis Public Schools operate programs offering education, health, mental health, nutrition, and family support to children from birth through age 5.
