About This Program

Florida homeowners aged 65 or older whose household adjusted gross income does not exceed $38,686 (2026 limit) may qualify for an additional homestead exemption of up to $50,000 on top of the standard homestead exemption. This exemption does not apply to school district taxes. Apply at the Duval County Property Appraiser's office with proof of age and income documentation.
