IRS VITA Program / University of Missouri Extension / KC Metro Tax Coalition
Free tax preparation services through the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Certified volunteers prepare federal and state tax returns at no cost for individuals and families earning under $67,000. Services include e-filing, claiming EITC, and Child Tax Credits. Administered locally by University of Missouri Extension in partnership with the KC Metro Tax Coalition and United Way of Greater Kansas City.
