About This Program

Starting January 1, 2026, Missouri provides tiered property tax exemptions by disability rating: $2,500 exemption for 30–49%, $5,000 for 50–69%, and 100% exemption for 70%+ service-connected disability. Primary residence must have assessed value under $250,000. Honorable discharge required. Surviving spouses of service-connected deaths also qualify for 100% exemption. Previously only POW + 100% P&T qualified.
