Nevada Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Welfare and Supportive Services
Nevada's Child Care Assistance Program provides subsidies to income-eligible working families to help pay for licensed child care. Families choose from licensed providers enrolled in the program. The state pays providers directly at approved rates; families contribute a co-payment based on income and family size. Nevada also participates in the federal CCDBG program.
Subsidy covers portion of childcare costs based on income; family pays sliding-scale co-payment
