About This Program

The City of Los Angeles Housing + Community Investment Department (HCIDLA) administers the Emergency Repair Program for income-qualified homeowners. Covered repairs include roofing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural issues presenting health and safety hazards. Funded through CDBG. The program operates on a rolling basis with a waiting list during high demand.
