About This Program

Los Angeles County operates one of the largest Head Start programs in the nation through the County Office of Education and dozens of community agencies. Programs offer free comprehensive bilingual early childhood education, health, dental, nutrition, and family support to low-income families. LA also has extensive State Preschool programs for additional coverage.
