About This Program

Kentucky's Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) helps low-income working families afford quality child care. Eligible families choose from licensed or certified child care providers participating in STARS for KIDS NOW, Kentucky's quality rating system. The state pays the provider directly, with families contributing a sliding-scale co-payment based on income.
