Wisconsin's Homestead Credit provides up to $1,168 annually to low-income homeowners and renters who pay property taxes directly or through rent. To qualify for 2025, household income must be below $24,680. Homeowners 62+ or who are disabled may also qualify regardless of income threshold. The credit is refundable, meaning it can produce a refund even if no taxes are owed.
