About This Program

Tennessee's Child Care Certificate Program (CCCP) helps low-income working families pay for child care. Eligible families receive a certificate they can use at any licensed or licensed-exempt child care provider in Tennessee. Subsidy amounts depend on the provider's Star-QUALITY rating — higher-rated providers receive higher reimbursements.

Subsidy covers portion of childcare costs based on income; family pays sliding-scale co-payment
