About This Program

Porter-Leath and Memphis-Shelby County Schools operate Head Start and Early Head Start programs serving low-income families throughout Memphis. These free, comprehensive programs offer early education, health and dental screenings, nutrition support, and family services. Over 3,000 children are enrolled annually across dozens of locations.
