About This Program

The City of Orlando's Down Payment Assistance Program provides forgivable loans up to $40,000 to income-qualified first-time homebuyers purchasing within Orlando city limits. Assistance is forgiven over a 5–10 year occupancy period at 20% per year. Must complete HUD-approved homebuyer education and meet credit/income guidelines. Florida Housing programs may also be layered.
