About This Program

The City of Raleigh provides down payment assistance up to $20,000 to income-qualified first-time homebuyers purchasing within city limits. Funds are provided as a forgivable deferred loan. North Carolina Housing Finance Agency (NCHFA) also offers the NC Home Advantage Mortgage with DPA of up to 3% or 5% of the loan amount for eligible buyers.
