United Way of Salt Lake operates VITA sites providing free, IRS-certified tax preparation for households earning $69,000 or less. Trained volunteers help filers claim the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), Child Tax Credit, and other credits that can yield thousands in refunds. These refund dollars frequently fund critical home improvements. Multiple Salt Lake City sites available.
