About This Program

Texas Workforce Commission Child Care Services provides financial assistance for child care to low-income families. Eligible parents choose from Texas Rising Star-rated or other licensed providers. Subsidies are paid directly to providers through local Workforce Development Boards. Families pay a co-payment based on income; higher-rated care may be available at no extra cost.
