San Antonio ISD and community partners operate Head Start and Early Head Start programs serving low-income families in Bexar County. These federally funded programs provide free comprehensive early childhood education, health, dental, nutrition, and family support. San Antonio ISD Head Start is one of the largest urban programs in Texas.
