About This Program

Multiple agencies including the City of Seattle operate Head Start and Early Head Start programs for low-income families. Seattle also funds Seattle Preschool Program (SPP), offering free or subsidized pre-K to 3- and 4-year-olds. Head Start provides free comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition, and family support services.
