Washington State Housing Finance Commission (WSHFC)
WSHFC's Home Advantage program provides down payment assistance as a second mortgage equal to 4% of the first mortgage amount (up to ~$15,000) at 1% interest with 30-year deferred payments. Household income must not exceed $215,000; borrowers in King or Snohomish counties earning under $147,400 qualify for the maximum $10,000 assistance. All borrowers must complete an approved homebuyer education seminar. Intended for first-time buyers purchasing a primary residence in Washington State.
