About This Program

The City of Syracuse provides HOME-funded down payment assistance to income-qualified first-time homebuyers purchasing within city limits. New York State SONYMA also administers low-interest mortgage programs with optional Conventional Plus and Down Payment Assistance Loan (DPAL) of up to $15,000 for eligible buyers statewide.
