About This Program

DC's Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD) administers the DC Main Streets program, commercial district grants, and the Capital Access Loan Program. DSLBD certifies Certified Business Enterprises (CBEs) for DC government contracting preferences, and offers the Business Recovery Revolving Loan Fund for small businesses. Grants are available for facade improvements and commercial corridor revitalization.
