About This Program

BURA designates specific streets in Fruit Belt and West Side neighborhoods. Homeowners receive full or partial conditional grants and no-interest loans for code-related repairs: roofing, siding, electrical, heating, hot water, windows. No cosmetic upgrades. Assets under $35,000.

Must live on a BURA-designated Target Street

Key Details

• Fruit Belt: Peach, Lemon, Locust, Maple, Mulberry Streets
• West Side: Bird Ave, Greenwood Pl, Herkimer St, Arnold St, and 11+ others
• Income at or below 80% AMI (4-person: $80,800)
• Assets must be under $35,000
• Must own and occupy for 12+ months, current on taxes
