About This Program

Connecticut launched the IRA-funded Home Electrification and Appliance Rebate (HEAR) program through Energize CT, providing point-of-sale rebates for heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, electrical panel upgrades, and wiring for income-eligible households. Low-income households (below 80% AMI) can receive up to 100% of costs covered; moderate-income households (80-150% AMI) can receive up to 50%. CT is eligible for nearly $100M in federal IRA rebates.

Below 80% AMI: 100% of costs up to $14,000; 80-150% AMI: 50% up to $14,000.
