About This Program

Duke Energy Carolinas' Customer Assistance Program (CAP) provides a monthly electric bill credit of up to $42 for income-qualifying customers in North Carolina. Qualifying households must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level and are Duke Energy customers. The credit is applied automatically each month upon enrollment.

Maximum annual credit at $42/month for 12 months.
