Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago
A national nonprofit affiliate providing free home repairs using volunteer labor for elderly, disabled, and low-income homeowners. Since 1991, they have repaired over 1,900 homes in the Chicago area. Programs include community work blitz days, Small Accessible Repairs for Seniors (SARS), and Home Repairs for Veterans.
All labor is volunteer; every $1 donated produces $3.25 in services
