VA Specially Adapted Housing (SAH / SHA) Grant

About This Program

The VA SAH grant (up to $121,812 FY 2025) helps veterans with severe service-connected disabilities adapt their homes for independent living. The SHA grant (up to $24,405) assists with lesser adaptations. Fort Worth area veterans can apply through the Fort Worth VA Clinic. Grants may be used up to 6 times over a veteran's lifetime.
