About This Program

The Texas Veterans Land Board (VLB) offers home improvement loans up to $50,000 (2–20 year terms) or $7,500–$10,000 (2–10 year terms) to eligible Texas veterans and active duty military for home improvements on their primary residence. No down payment is required. Veterans with a 30%+ service-connected disability rating qualify for a discounted interest rate.
