About This Program

The VA's SAH grant helps veterans with severe service-connected mobility disabilities adapt or construct accessible homes. The SHA grant assists veterans with blindness, hand loss, or certain respiratory disabilities. The HISA grant (up to $6,800) covers medically necessary home modifications. SAH FY2025: up to $109,986. SHA FY2025: up to $22,036. HISA: up to $6,800 service-connected or $2,000 non-service-connected. Amounts adjust annually.
