About This Program

FEMA's Hazard Mitigation Grant Program provides funding after a presidentially declared disaster to help communities reduce future losses. Homeowners cannot apply directly, local government submits on their behalf. In Southern Nevada, eligible projects include flash flood mitigation, structural reinforcement, and home elevation.
