About This Program

FEMA's Hazard Mitigation Grant Program provides funding after a presidentially declared disaster to help communities reduce future losses. Homeowners cannot apply directly — local government submits on their behalf. In Southern Nevada, eligible projects include flash flood mitigation, structural reinforcement, and home elevation.
