Nevada Department of Health and Human Services (Federal LIHEAP)
Nevada's Energy Assistance Program (EAP) uses federal LIHEAP funds and state Universal Energy Charge revenue to help low-income households pay heating and cooling bills. Benefits are paid directly to the energy provider as a one-time annual payment. Households earning at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level qualify. Benefits range from $360 to $3,136 depending on household size, income, and energy usage.
Income at or below 150% Federal Poverty Level; benefit paid once per year to utility; apply at DWSS offices, by mail, or via energyhelp.us; benefit is not a home repair grant but helps with ongoing energy cost
