About This Program

The SAH grant helps veterans with service-connected disabilities that severely limit mobility to purchase, build, or adapt a home to be wheelchair-accessible or otherwise adapted to their disability. The FY 2026 maximum is $126,526, available up to 6 times within the lifetime benefit. Eligible disabilities include loss of limbs, blindness, severe burns, and certain respiratory conditions. Apply through VA Southern Nevada HCS.
