About This Program

USDA 504 provides loans up to $40,000 at 1% interest and grants up to $10,000 (for homeowners 62+) for home repairs. Property must be in USDA-eligible rural area. Most of NYC is not eligible, but some outer borough areas may qualify.

Most NYC areas not USDA-eligible; check eligibility map. Loans at 1% for 20 years.
