About This Program

The NYSERDA Comfort Home Program offers rebates to New York homeowners for insulation and air sealing improvements in one-to-four family homes. As of 2025, attic and rim joist insulation rebates increased to $2,500 and wall insulation rebates remain at $3,000, with a combined package maximum of $3,000 per household. No income limit applies; any homeowner paying the electric System Benefits Charge is eligible.

Rebates paid directly to participating contractor, reducing the homeowner's out-of-pocket cost. Attic/rim joist: up to $2,500. Walls: up to $3,000. Combined maximum per project: $3,000.
