About This Program

Loans up to $40,000 at 1% interest for very-low-income homeowners to repair and improve homes, plus grants up to $10,000 for homeowners 62+ to remove health/safety hazards. Can combine loan and grant for up to $50,000. Limited to eligible rural areas.

Loans at 1% interest (20-year term) + grants for 62+; rural areas only
