About This Program

New Jersey's Comfort Partners program, administered through the NJ Clean Energy Program, provides free comprehensive energy efficiency improvements — including insulation, air sealing, heating system repair or replacement, refrigerator replacement, LED lighting, and health and safety measures — to income-qualified NJ households with no out-of-pocket cost, copay, or application fee. Eligible residents at ≤250% FPL receive up to $14,000 in energy upgrades plus up to $2,500 in health and safety work. The program serves single-family and small multifamily (1–4 unit) homes that are at least 5 years old.
