About This Program

The Strengthen Oklahoma Homes (SOH) program, administered by the Oklahoma Insurance Department, provides grants of up to $10,000 to help homeowners upgrade to an IBHS FORTIFIED™-standard roof, improving wind resistance and reducing insurance costs. Grants are paid directly to the licensed contractor upon completion and submission of the FORTIFIED™ certificate. The program launched statewide on January 12, 2026 following a successful pilot phase.
