About This Program

The Section 184 Indian Home Loan Guarantee Program provides HUD-guaranteed mortgage financing for American Indian and Alaska Native tribal members, Alaska villages, tribes, and tribally designated housing entities. Loans can be used for purchase, new construction, rehabilitation, or refinancing, including repairs and energy improvements added to the mortgage.
