About This Program

The VA's SAH grant (up to $126,526 in FY2026) helps veterans with severe service-connected disabilities purchase or adapt a home to meet their mobility and care needs. The SHA grant (up to $25,350) assists veterans with qualifying but less severe disabilities. Providence-area veterans access these grants through the Providence VA Regional Benefit Office at 380 Westminster Street.
