About This Program

USDA program providing loans at 1% interest to very-low-income homeowners in rural areas and grants to homeowners 62+ to remove health and safety hazards. Loans up to $40,000; grants up to $10,000. Loans and grants can be combined up to $50,000. Rural Monroe County areas may qualify.
