About This Program

SMUD's My Energy Optimizer Partner+ program offers a one-time enrollment incentive of up to $10,000 for qualifying home battery storage systems at $500 per kWh of nameplate capacity. Tesla Powerwall installations receive up to $5,400 per Powerwall plus $440/year ongoing virtual power plant payments. Must participate in SMUD's Solar and Storage Rate and enroll within 90 days of PTO.
